Homestay in 加拿大 － Winnipeg
Hello! Our family would like to share our happy home and welcome international students who are friendly, respectable, tidy, responsible and non-smoking. We would love to be able to help students to have a safe and comfortable place to stay while in Canada. We have 1 room currently available for students with a bathroom shared between the students (the family has their own bathroom to use) and is at the same floor where the private rooms are located. Our home is clean, located in a quiet residential area, no-smoking and is near many amenities such as grocery stores, pharmacy, shopping malls, fitness centers, banks, clinics/hospital, parks & schools. Transit is accessible going to downtown, Universities and Colleges.
Our family migrated from Asia, the Philippines and we would love to share with our students our different cultures & traditions as well as learn from them. We have visited Asian countries such as Singapore, Hong Kong, China & Korea to name a few.
The monthly rent includes:
• meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• pillows, pillow-cases, bed sheets, blankets and comforters are provided
• utilities: phone (local calls only), internet (wifi), electricity, central heat/air con, hot/cold water
• facilities: bathroom shared between students, laundry area, kitchen, family room, receiving area, rec room, deck, backyard, basketball pad
We help students get settled in Canada:
• assistance in getting bus passes
• assistance in opening a bank account
• assistance in getting a cellphone
• bring them to malls/groceries to buy their personal items
• bring them to our family gatherings
Requirement:
• one month rent to serve as damage deposit (will be returned / refunded when student moves out provided there is no damage to property)
• monthly rent to be paid in advance on the first day of each month.
• one month notice if the student wants to move out.
• expect students to be clean all the time and must clean their own rooms & shared bathroom regularly
