I have been hosting students for several years and enjoy meeting new students and learning about their cultures.

I have no pets in my home and do not smoke. This is a smoke free home.

I only accept female students and prefer students that plan on staying for a full semester or school term. Airport pickup is available and students are encouraged to arrive at least one day ahead of their school start date to allow us to go over the bus route to their school.

With the reality of Covid, all applicants will be asked to show proof of full vaccination and agree to follow all Provincial rules and restrictions. I know this can be hard when your friends are living in another household. I have 3 bedrooms, so it is possible for friends to apply together.

I have three bedrooms to offer.

Bedroom #1: 10' x 12' - Double bed, bedding, 2 pillows, rug, dresser, mirror, closet, desk, chair, bookcase, end table, lamp, clock, powerbar, bedding, towels, snack bin, toiletries bin, hair dryer, wireless internet

Bedroom #2: 9'10" x 10'2" - Single bed, bedding, 2 pillows, rug, dresser, mirror, closet, desk, chair, end table, lamp, clock, powerbar, bedding, towels, snack bin, toiletries bin, hair dryer, wireless internet

Bedroom #3: 8'5" x 10'2" - Single bed, bedding, 2 pillows, rug, dresser, mirror, closet, desk, chair, end table, lamp, clock, powerbar, bedding, towels, snack bin, toiletries bin, hair dryer, wireless internet

Laundry: A washer and dryer are provided, along with detergent and dryer sheets. There is also an indoor line for drying items that can not go in the dryer.

All rooms on the main floor, other than bedrooms are open for your use. This includes the kitchen, dining room, living room, and bathroom. There is a smart TV available in the living room along with a couch, chair, card table, puzzles, games, books and WiFi throughout the home.

Breakfast and lunch are self-serve and students are asked to inform me of their lunch preferences. Dinner will be made for you on most days. If I am not home at supper time, a meal will be available for you to heat up.

Because this is a multi student residence, I am not able to accommodate dietary restrictions.

My home is close to a busing for both the University of Winnipeg and the University of Manitoba. I do not have parking for vehicles.
