Welcome to Canada
My husband and I live in St Norbert 20 min via bus to the University of Manitoba and 43 min to downtown University Winnipeg via blue rapid transport.
Transit to the University is bus # 62 direct to school takes 15-20 mins, and bus #75 takes you to St. Vital Mall for shopping. Bus stop is right at my apartment complex across the street. #62 Blue bus rapid transit takes 43 min to U of Winnipeg 1 transfer, off one bus get on another that quickly.
Will pick up at airport cost $45.00 just need you flight information and arrival time.
I enjoy being able to host international students wishing to study at the University of Manitoba or University of Winnipeg to have a safe and comfortable place to stay while being in Canada while away from Home. I've been hosting students for over 14 years now and have had many students from different places in the World.
Student is responsible for preparing their breakfast and making their lunches for school, I or my husband will cook dinner.
We enjoy listening to music and watching movies, walks in the park, painting is my past time hobby.
*Student will help with Kitchen clean up after meals only if they eat in house.
*Students must keep their room clean and make their bed and manages to clean bathroom.
* House hours:
over age 20 - night hours 12-1 am. No 3 to 4 am times allowed. Respect for house rules or find another residence.
Under age of 18 - 10:00 pm
* It is vital to inform your host with a contact number and general where abouts when you're out for the evening. This is for safety reason
* In house quiet begins at 10 pm
