I am a kind, considerate, widowed older Canadian lady of African heritage. I have a very beautiful 4 bedroom split level house located in the safe and nice neighborhood of Southdale, 20 min away from the University of Manitoba, and 30 min to downtown The bus stop is 5 min walking distance. The Dart bus will drop you off in front of our home on Sundays and holidays. I have been a Homestay Hostess now for the past 11 years with Uof M . I am a great hostess and would love to take you to see many of Winnipeg's cultural displays. We would be happy to welcome you to a furnished bedroom that includes Free TV, cable, Wi-Fi, and laundry. 3 meals - breakfast, lunch, dinner. I am a good cook and will be happy to cook your favorite meals. Snacks are provided mainly in the evening. The neighborhood is mostly elderly people, some with grown University students. We are close to Southdale Mall which is only 15 minutes walking distance.
