I grew up in large home and have always wanted to continue with the same lifestyle. Hosting international student to me means hosting the world. I love to learn about other cultures and also helping students integrate and understand Canadian culture. With few years of hosting experience, I have not had any dispute with my students and am so happy with getting them settled; from the first contact at the airport up until the student's departure at the airport is always a great experience for both parties, emotional when they're leaving. My home is a bus ride to and from the University of Manitoba with 1 minute walk to the bus stop and a bus ride to Downtown Winnipeg. It offers quiet and warm environment and also close to all major stores. St. Vital Mall is a 20minutes bus ride, where you can find the Theatre and several clothing stores and also grocery store such as Walmart. You have access to 24 hour internet service in my lovely home, a bedroom furnishes with bed, desk, chair, lamp, storage, closet, and mirror.
